Increase LOD quality?

Hi there,

I'm importing some fairly simple handheld device models from Inventor and the results in Showcase are visibly faceted. I've tried all the standard LOD settings, but is there a way to force an increase in the mesh density?

These really are fairly simple models, and are completely modelled in Inventor (no Step or IGES imports) but still look rough in Showcase.

I've attached an image of screenshots from both showing what I'm on about. The bottom edge in particular is rough in Showcase but smooth in Inventor.

Any advice on how to improve things?

Nevermind, I figured it out.

All the settings are in the folder
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Showcase 2012\support\TessellationSettings

Copy the 006 file, rename it, edit it in notepad and change the values (Smaller is better) for:
edit tessellationsettings adaptHigh chorddeviation
edit tessellationsettings adaptHigh normaltolerance

I've tried it and it works a treat. If there's an easier way I'd be happy to hear about it.
