Some files won't load

I use Fusion 360 on two different computers, but they are never running Fusion at the same time. On both computers, I will get an unknown error when trying to load the project. I've tried everything to try to identify a pattern, and can't seem to find one. Even though I close Fusion when I'm done, I usually don't sign out if that makes a difference. This only happens on some projects; about half of them load just fine, and occasionally it will work on the 4th or 5th try... Not sure what's causing this or what to do about it so help is much appreciated! P.S. I am also using the free trial if that makes any difference... The loading corruption only started about a week into my trial.

Thank you for reporting this issue.

Can you post a screenshot of the error message you are recieving? Also, what OS are you using, Mac/Windows? Version? Do you know if a proxy server, firewall, or anti-virus software might be interferring with the operation of Fusion 360?

There is a link below about resolving network connectivity issues with proxy servers or firewalls.

Please review the link and let me know if this helps.

Thanks,

Well, I guess the answer is no for now on the screenshot because everything is working fine at the moment... I will try to save one when it comes up if you still need it, but I'm pretty sure it just said "Fusion has encountered an unknown error". One of the computers is a PC running windows 7, the other is a school computer -- it's a Mac and I'm not sure what software it's running. I doubt that it's a firewall or proxy problem because it occurs somewhat equally on both computers (which use different networks). Also I forgot to mention that the same problem often happens with my Autodesk iPad app that allows me to view my projects: It starts to load and then says there was a problem loading it; it won't give me anything specific on what went wrong. The whole problem is very inconsistant in that sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes if you try to load it it will work after a few trys.

I have the same problem. The first time I could not open a document was about a week ago.
The solution for me was to restart my computer when I have a document I was unable to open.

I have attached a screenshot with the error message. Hope it can help the investigation of the problem.

Yup, that's the message I got. I'll try rebooting when that happens and see if it helps.
