In the new release of Fusion, I can't get the 3D print to send to cura, what do I have to put into my preferences for the path and executable. I normally use a batch file to start it with the follwing line
@python\python.exe -m Cura.cura %*
STL files in windows are associated with pythonw.exe
Won't work with python.exe or pythonw.exe
In regedit it seems to use this for the STL association:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Cura_14.09\python\pythonw.exe" -c "import os; os.chdir(\"C:\Program Files (x86)\Cura_14.09\"); import Cura.cura; Cura.cura.main()" "%1"

I'm having some difficulty following the procedure you're using. Would you mind providing some further background information on how this process worked prior to the update? Is this being done throught a script/Fusion API or through the User Interface?
Thank You,
Thanks for responding guys, I am using the new update of Fusion and there is an option to send to Cura. I selected that option but then I also entered a path.
Just tried it again by selecting Cura and leaving the path blank and it works perfectly. I should have just done that in the first place!
Invoking Cura from the command line involves some arguments as you have noted from its entry in Regedit. If Cura is installed on your machine, Fusion should pick it up and add it to the dropdown. That is the best way to invoke Cura from Fusion. The custom field is useful to invoke print utilities by specifying the path to its exe. Cura is different in that it requires python to be executed and passes some arguments to invoke the application.
Anyway, I am glad to hear that you were able to invoke Cura from Fusion on your machine.

Just downloaded CURA 3.2.0 and tried to get a simple STL file to it and could not.
Exporting to a MacBook Pro.
Tried various settings, one being the "General" setting in CURA and it did NOT even look like the one shown in the help picture.
Any ideas would be helpful,
Thanks

you have a registry key to modify :
Don't remember what I did but it works fine now.
Thanks

I do not have that option to even select a 3D Print Utility software. Cura used to be an option until the update.
Beginner with Fusion, but I wll try to answer. Not totally sure what or where the problem you are having is being caused.
I just made a cube in Fusion (new updated version via UI), went to Body to generate a STL file. Window then came up where I was able to create and transfer the STL file to my directory. Opening CURA 3.6.0 I was able to select the file and present it for slicing.
Also from the Body > STL window selection I was able to select "send to 3D utility" box, then CURA and a few others came up for selection.
