Opening a solidworks file

I've opened a solidworks file in fusion 360, but the sketches from that file are missing. Is it possible to import the sketches as well? If not, then solidworks files with sketch parameters are lost and I might as well remodel the whole project. Any insights?

Hi Nnatev,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to import  at that level currently.

You can try direct edit of the model, but not sure if that will you suit your need.

If you do decide to redo the model, you can try exporting the sketches from SWX as SVG and import that into Fusion.

Couple of useful threads to review if you chose to try one of the above.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Vijay I.
