Mirror with linked reference

Is it possible to mirror components with a linked reference? I see, if i mirror a component it has no linked reference to the mirrored components.
Is there a way to hold a linked reference during mirror?

The advantage of that is when i place a hole in the referenced component the mirror component get them too on the mirrored side.

You can use the design history/timeline to accomplish a "link" between a mirrored body and the original. Let me know if that helps.

Thanks,

I can't find an option to accomplish a "link" in the timeline. Can you tell me how? 🙂

There's not a command necessarily. If you create all the features for a body while capturing design history. Each command to create a body is captured in the timeline. If you mirror the body as the last feature in the timline.

Check out this screencast for clarification.

Let me know if this helps or if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Haha, i not to see the wood for the trees. Thank you to put me on the right rail. Parametric Timeline is the key! Smiley Very Happy

I need to accustom oneself to the parametric and timeline design.

Thank's for your advice!
