How does the "Setup Sheet" work?

Hey guys. Trying to figure out how to use the setup sheet after I am done with post processing. I click and nothing happens. Same in the drop downs.

I would like to be able to use that feature.

Many of my parts require different setups as I'm sure you guys know. It would be nice to be able to give the operator some information about how to setup the part.

I did some searching and just didn't find any mention of it.

Thanks.

Lee

Hello Lee,

Great to hear you're using CAM for Fusion 360!  In regards to the Setup Sheet, try 'right clicking' on the setup in the browser and save it to your desktop.  Will that workflow work?

Thanks,

Thanks for that.

I actually just returned to say that I did find the information about the setup sheet.

It was in the least likely place. In the help files of the software. 😉

I was neglecting to select the machining processes.

All better now. Nice feature BTW.

Thanks.

Lee

On a side note, and completely unrelated, your avatar is awesome!  If there was an award for that, I would certainly give it to you.

Keep up the good work with CAM, and as Curt said, please feel free to reach out with whatever questions you have.

The setup sheets are .CPS files and can also be run thru the post dialog. Just scroll down and you will see Setup-sheet.cps (this is the default HTML format), and 2 setup-sheet-excell.cps(setup-sheet-excell-2007.cps) these two will output in yep excel  format.

Hi. Are the setup sheets editable? Is it possible to get you company logo in there somehow?

Sure.

You can edit them. They are in HTML. Just add your logo to the completed file and save.

Just remember to place the logo file in the same folder that you saved the setup sheet in.

Well, you really need to know how to edit a web page.

I have Dreamweaver for that, so it is a simple matter. It can be done in text format though. Just a little harder to input the code.

This is the code I used to input my logo.

<img src="sharkguard.png" alt="Shark Logo" name="Shark Guard Logo" width="160" height="50" hspace="215" border="0" align="top" />

It's really not too hard.
