I want to export my design as a STEP file, both online or in the app it is not working.

Hi

you check with a new file the export, our check if the geometry you're saving is watertight. and try to save as to the HUB then download.

Hi,

thanks for your help but export from a new file is also not working.

I found no geometry errors in my current file.

Exporting via the HUB is also not working, same as in the app nothing happens when your press the save or download button.

Are you exporting from your Dashboard or are you exporting from the the local application? ....tools menu or in-app file menu?

See the below tip for further insight.

ok, it looks like i finally found the issue. the saving folder is on an external drive. i havent logged on the drive and it looks like the export window just doesnt open, if the device is not connected. so no chance to choose another device or saving folder... good to know.

Hi,

please start a new thread.

you should be able to access connected drives via the path.

Sounds like the very old bug reported in this thread with a workaround.
