The Tangent Wave is not supported with Smoke Mac. It is supported only with Flame PRemium.
The Avid Color panel is the one supported on Smoke Mac 2015.

thats a shame, as i own a Wave and not an Avid, and i don't have Flame but do have Smoke.
I'm begining to realise just how much Smoke seems to be hindered by so many odd choices.
thanks
Adam
Clarification:
Flame Premium supports the Tangent Element panel. Not the Tangent Wave.
Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Fred - Clarification to your clarification...
"Flame Premium supports Tangent Element" - by Flame Premium, you mean Lustre supports Tangent Element. Flame and Color Warper does not work with the Element, correct?
tangent elements work with both flame premium color (lustre) and inside of flame for the color warper and color corrector
does it support the avid artist transport module on smoke as well?? i often see it placed together.
Hi,
This is a product differentiation between Smoke and Flame Premium.
Smoke is compatible with the Avid Euphonix panel and Flame Premium with the Tangent Element panels.
Also, please note that the Tangent Element is supported in Flame Premium only, not in Flame.
You can submit a feature request for the Tangent Element support in Smoke through the following link:

Please let us know if you have any questions,

"This is a product differentiation between Smoke and Flame Premium."
No, that is the differentiation between Avid Artist Panel and Tangent Panel. These are 3rd party devices created for products like Smoke and Flame by two different companies and BOTH need to be supported by BOTH Smoke and Flame.
so we can only use avid artist panel with smoke 2015.
does it works correctly?
with both cw and cc?
Yes, the Avid Color and Transport surfaces are supported and work properly with effects such as the CC and CW.
You can also easily customize the panel (assign most of Smoke's buttons/sliders to the surface controls) using the keyboard shortcut editor.
Here's the link to in-depth tutorials showing the capabilities of these panels in Smoke:
