Security and Permissions

Hello All.

Just downloaded and installed Smoke for Mac Pre-Trial 6 -- my first taste of Smoke and Autodesk Products.

I had to give access permission to approx. 12 requests during installation, before I even launched the app which, of course, asked one other which I expected.

Can someone please explain these software components (such as 'wiretap') that asked for permission? Do they live independently somewhere in my directories or are they part of the app package? When I use the Smoke Uninstaller, will they be fully deleted?

There are several background processes and servers that Smoke needs to manage media, export, and manage background tasks. Backburner, Wiretap, etc.

Th uninstaller should remove everything... that would make sense.
