I am wondering what I am doing wrong.
So I have tried several times to install and reinstall Screencast over and over. But the problem is that my Screencast is not capturing Fusion 360 tool bars as it should. Looks like I am being selfish and modelling something in the dark so that others don’t see what I am doing. Very awkward! as it works well for Alias and Inventor
Does anyone know what could be the issue, or better the solution for such issue.
Here is how the video comes out.

Hi - the Screencast team will reach out to you (today) privately on this issue to help diagnose it. Sorry about the trouble!

Hi,
I believe you used link https://screencast.autodesk.com/Embed/b174d368-2bc2-43c6-a200-d98f2206c697 to post to the forums instead of the link https://screencast.autodesk.com/Embed/Timeline/b174d368-2bc2-43c6-a200-d98f2206c697.
If you look at your actual Screencast:
https://screencast.autodesk.com/Main/Details/b174d368-2bc2-43c6-a200-d98f2206c697
this has all the commands listed.
When embedding you have the option to embed just the video or the vidoe with timeline. Please use the link with Timeline in it, to see the commands.
Hope this helps!!!
Thanks, --Ram
Hi and Thak you both for the prompt reply.
@EricStover looking forward to have an assistance in th
@ram.mummidi thanks anyway to point out the differences about sharing the command line, I do understand how to go about the embed files and so on, but my issue here is that on my videos is not showing the software toolbars in anyway. I don't think its Fusion 360 as work perfectly on Inventor and if I remenber in Alias.
Looking forward to have a resolution on this matter, as I need to produce some learning material.
All the best.
I just moved a post by @jjurban55 to the Screencast forum for this particular issue.
Are you using any high resolution monitors (5K), dual monitors? Does it make any difference if your record on one monitor versus the other?
In Inventor, the ribbon can be sensitive to text scaling. Perhaps this issue is similar?
In Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display, is the text size set to 100%?
Are you using any custom text size in the DPI settings other than 100%?
I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,

Hi innovatenate
I have all the Windows setting as default, and thanks for the link I have seen it but as I could not find an answer for my case on Screencast community at the time
i though to bring it to Fusion 360.
Anyway, as a matter of the fact my settings are:
and I just sent an email to bagchis and lets see what happen next. I keep you all up to date.
All the best
Do you have Transparency enabled? If not, here is how you enable it.
- Right click on your windows desktop and select Personalize
- Click on Window Color (at the bottom)
- Enable transparency (check box - enable it).
Also a video on how to do it here: http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2066988/enable-window-transparency-aero-windows.html
Without the transparency enabled, some of the overlays aren't applied.
Also make sure, Desktop Composition is enabled. You can enable it with this steps in the following link:
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/127411-desktop-composition-enable-disable.html
If desktop composition and transparency are already enabled, we would need to get more information on what is different on your system.
Thanks,

Hi ram.mummidi
Thank you for the advise, I have just downloaded right now and re installed it over again and Run as Admin, but this time I did as set up as custom and I only tick off add in for Revit.
Also, I did refresh my Windows Experience Index > the values did not change but something behind the scene has happen and now it seems to be working. AH! I also change the
compatibility mode to Win Vista SP2
Thanks you all.
Great - glad to hear that solved your issue. Let us know if you have any further issues and thanks for using our Screencast service!
(Thanks Ram for the quick diagnosis and turnaround.)

Now I am trying to break the toy to see if I find out what exactly happen.. As I chenged several settings in one go I am not sure what can cause the issue.
But if I find out more information I keep you guys posted.
Thanks again.
I've (I hope) installed the screencast thing and am wanting to check the settings.
As per post I am trying to get to the highlited part....
As you can see, there is no DISPLAY option.
I'm new to Windoze10.
Sorry folks, I know it is more a windoze problem than a F360, but.......
It took me 10 minutes to get to there, because I didn't know you have to select the ICON view mode to get that kind of view rather than the "default" one, which doesn't show all the items.
