Rollers

Hi

anybody with much experience of making credit rollers from the text tool in timeline fx?

I've made a roller which is on a black clip of 21secs duration.

In the roll/crawl tab of the text editor I have put keyframes at the beginning and end so that the credits just leave top of frame at the end of the clip.

However when I render the roller the credits leave significantly earlier like 15frames or so.

Its driving me bonkers

Anyone please!

Hi!

Have you checked if your keyframes are set to beizier or linear?

Cheers.

Hi

all keyframes (only two) are set to linear with constant interplation.

Whats weird is that I can set the end keyframe and step out of the text fx to the timeline and see the roller is just where I want it.

But if I render the roller "moves" me not having moved the playhead.

Maybe the system is moving the roller to a speed/position it likes on render.

Bonkers.

The workaround is to trim the clip longer and experiment with the keyframe till you get what you want!
