I follow Grant's tutorial on using an axis to planar track, but never get the option for planar tracking in the action environment. I create a BFX from my bkgd shot, then add an action node, then double click the action node and in the action bin, I double click a gmask. Then step into the action schematic using the tilde key, and draw the mask. Then double click on the axis, but never get the option to choose planar. It is always a point tracker. What am I missing? The UI doesn't even look the same as in the tutorial video...
Hi Shannon,
Happy New Year to you...
Bob is correct. These features were introducted in 2015 EXT 2 of Flame and Flare. Not Flame Assist.
Please ensure you are running a matching or later version of the software and you will be able to follow along with the videos.
Regards
Grant
Hi,
Could you please post a screenshot of your UI after you have double-clicked on the Axis so I can see the object menus on your system?
Thanks.
Regards
Grant

Is planar tracker available in Flame Assist 2017?
The Planar Tracker is available in Flame or Flare. It is not available in Flame Assist.

Thanks. In Flame Assist, is the perspective tracking is the best tracking tool?
