After scouring the internet for hours for issues similar to mine and trying every suggested solution, my issue still remains.
This morning I installed Mudbox 2016 and since then I have been trying to use it with my Wacom Cintiq 13HD. The problem is, most of the sculpt and paint tools do not respond to my Wacom pen/stylus. Whenever I bring my mouse into view and use that, however, the tools work fine. Oddly enough, there are a few tools that do respond to my stylus: the foamy and imprint sculpt tools and the airbrush paint tool. All the other functions such as menu access and panning/rotating around the viewport also work with my Cintiq pen/stylus. It is just the sculpt and paint tools that act up.
The newest Wacom Cintiq drivers are installed on my PC (I even reinstalled both the drivers and Mudbox to be sure that wasn't the issue). I run a 64bit Win 8 with the educational version of Mudbox 2016 (university license). My Cintiq works perfectly in every other application (Autodesk and Adobe programs alike), but not in Mudbox. My tablet is set to pen mode (I read mouse mode can cause issues), so that is not the problem either.
I've been trying to get it to work the entire morning and I am running out of things to try. I tried pretty much everything to get my tablet to work with Mudbox and still, no luck.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. As you can imagine, I did not get Mudbox to not use it with my tablet.
Hmm... I dont have a Cintiq, I have an cheap Intuos, but, most of those issues can be solved looking for updated drivers from the maker.
I fact, I had a similar issue with my intuos in Autodesk Sketchbook Pro 6. (and the tablet was new, recently purchased).
I was thinking I had the most recent driver. I was wrong. I updated the driver, and all started to work fine.
