I've applied a Matchbox drop shadow to a bunch of credits. All credits are Smoke Text used as a matte with a solid color for a fill. I apply the Matchbox, select Drop Shadow, adjust as needed. If I exit Smoke and start again, sometimes the Matchbox effect loses the Drop Shadow effect. It just defaults to a Matchbox without a selected preset. Not all the time but more often than not.
