So I've managed to output my 100 minute film to HDCam SR. Now I have a few sections that I need to insert edit patches. If I enter marks in the output tool, it punches in at the correct tape time but starts at the beginning of the timeline. How do I insert edit a section fo the timeline without needing to subclip and make a new timeline for each insert?
Make subsequences of the sections you need to insert. This way the small sequences have the start timecode of where you need to insert. Deselect audio in your output tool if you don't want audio inserted.
