Hello,
I've got a problem after an archive reload project on smoke 2012 Ext1 SP1.
I can't re-enter in BFX to modify the setup.
Error message : The BatchFX xxx has lost its setup and can no longer be edited or rendered.
For information, i tried to do a reload selection, I select the clip I want to modify and this reload is correct.
I can enter in the BFX...
Is it a problem with reload project?
Do you have the same problem?
Thanks you
Salut, Seb.
sorry for replying so late.
What version was the archive made in?
Can you please post the Smoke app and shell logs? There's a pinned thread at the top of the forum with instructions on how to get the logs.
Thanks!
Robert.
Hello Robert,
It's the version version of archive...
I'm with client now, I do my best for the log.
Thank you
Hi Seb.
So the archive was created in Smoke 2012x1 SP1 and you're restoring in Smoke 2012x1 SP1?
thanks,
Robert.
Hi Seb.
Thanks for the logs. Looks like you have a lot of projects in Smoke. Can you tell me which project has the BFX issue?
This issue might mean that history was not properly restored when you restored the project. There are several history-related messages in your logs. I want to make sure i'm looking at the right project.
BTW: do you happen to also have Smoke 2013 or 2013 Ext1 on your Mac? Does the same issue occur if you restore in 2013/2013x1?
Thanks!
Robert.
Hi Robert,
I thought it might come from history.
I'll do the test on the 2014, and I'll let you know.
The bug happened on Lisseur_Optique project ...
thanks
Robert,
Attached two sets of logs cleaner than the previous (one on 2012Ext1, and a second on 2012Ext1.SP1). Project (LGPGAR_Fru_Hydracurls_30_20_10Sec_PP1_VMD. ..).
We did the same test on the same Framestore, but with both versions 2012 (Ext1 and Ext1.SP1)
Apparently the error messages are not the same.
Maybe this will give you another track ...
Thank you
Best Regards
ps : The reload on 2014 is always runing...
Hi Robert,
Do you have some news about the resolution of this problem?
Thanks
Bonjour Sébastien,
You are not allowed to discussed unreleased version such as Smoke 2014 on a public forum. Please use the Beta forum for any feedback / issues regarding this version
merci

Hello,
I know that, but my question isn't about 2014, but 2012... Read my problem...
Thank you.
Hi Seb.
I thought you had solved the issue by simply restoring your archive again.
Are you still unable to access the BFX?
Thanks,
Robert.
Hello Robert,
Reload the archive does not solve the problem every time ... It's really random ...
Very strange...
Thank you
I saw another post with the same problem on Flame2010... Perhaps, it's the same problem?
