Export question

Hello everyone,

is it possible to export to a movie just a particular part of the sequence (say frame 100 to 500) similar as you can do in After Effects exporting just a work area?

Can anyone explain comprehensively how to do that?

You can't, but it's a popular request.  Basically you have to make a subclip first, and then export that.  Here are some threads that should help you...
