Deleting clips in remote libraries

I have another project on my machine 'Flame Assist' (or a remote machine) and I have wired a master across, relaid the audio and now pushed it back into the project I got it from, thus creating a duplicate master (with same name) but with new audio. How do I delete the old version so there is no confusion. This is a massive part of our workflow and would be doing this around 20-30 times a day. In 2014 Beta there was an adminstrator mode button (or something like that) which allowed me to do this. Where has this gone or has it been deemed not necessary to manage media in other projects/machines.

Hi Alan,

You should be able to right-click on the remote library and select Acquire Exclusive Write Access.

This should allow you to add or delete clips from the remote library from another project on another machine.

As long as the versions are the same it should be possible.

I have upgraded to 2015 Flame Assist and trying to delete clips in remote libraries and the right click Acquire Exclusive Write Access does not seem to be there anymore. Has this been removed or just moved?

OK, adding to this. I can get Exclusive write access to other machines but not projects with in my own machine. Sure i should be able to delete clips from other projects in my own machine the same way i can remote machine?

Hi Alan,

I have just checked on my software and it is working for me.

The operation should be the same whether you are remote or local.
