CFX Renders freeze framing the Back Clip

I have a name key that I'm dropping over clips. Often the back clip freezes in the render. Any one else? 2015 SP2 on Mac 10.9

Sounds like you are probably running into this bug.

Any one with a work around? I've tried multipul options (replacing back clip with actual clip, flush renders, drop dummy efx on clip) with no success.

As pointed out in the other thread, you can try either adding edits to your still frame that correspond to the clips on tracks below, or render by turning on 'Cache on Playback' and 'Play All Frames' and playing through the trouble areas (or all) of your sequence, rather than using the Render button.

Discovered that commiting the CFX allowed be to use it in the sequence without freezing the back clip. Just remember to copy it and enable any matte channels before hand.
