Hi Jay,
The answer is no and probably not likey.
The Canon RAW format is for stills not for video.
We use RAW formats from RED, ARRI and other camera manufacturers.
Your best best for the Canon RAW data is convert it into an OpenEXR to save the information and load that into Flame.

Grant
Nice one,
Thanks Grant but there is a Canon camera (C500) that shoot's 4k, 2k and HD video in the form of Canon Raw RMF files. From what I read it's fairly new to the market though.
Cheers
Jay.
Maybe use a KiQuad Pro & convert it to Prores or DNxHD in realtime?
I don't recall the capabilities exactly - it's some kind of portable disk recorder/playout device, AJA make it.
I lament the days that SpiDDR vanished - that whole thing could have been a super workflow monster by now - way ahead of its time and totally undervalued...
I guess at the moment you'll have to use another package to do the conversion, like Scratch, Resolve, OSD that support the C500 Raw.
It would be nice to have it supported natively.

PS: A over B, you're either a PostImpression guy or someone who had a Return To The Future Acid trip, I hadn't seen anybody mentioning this name in 10 years!
Hi guys.
The suggestion to support the C500 RAW format has been logged into our database.
Regards,
Robert.
Over one year after it was logged and there is still no support for Canon RAW. We've just been handed a load of these files from our client and we are now having to waste a day on a project with a tight turnaround having to convert these files as well as having to do extra conforms.
Can someone from Autodesk tell me why their systems are so behind the times when it comes to getting support for different file formats? This was the same with r3d and Arri RAW. Why when your systems cost the sun and the moon are Adobe and Blackmagic able to offer support in their line of products which cost a fraction of the price (even free)?
