Cannot Mount Stone+Wire Autodesk Smoke 2010

Hello,

I have just reinstalled the Autodesk OS for Linux from the given DVD. Everything went successfully but now after installing Smoke 2010 on linux i cannot seem to mount the STONE+WIRE.

I have tried everything possible.

The ID under sw_storage.cfg and sw_framestore_map match exactly.
The /etc/hosts file hostname and the sw_framestore_map HADDR also match. (Given ip 192.168.10.25)
Everything seems to be in order.

I also cannot find /usr/discreet/sw/swdbd

It says no such file or directory.

Hi

Does the workstation's network interface actually work? Try pinging another system on the network.
Make sure the network cable is connected to the proper port on the back (preferably eth0).

Can you please post the contents of the /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 file?

Regards,
Robert.

Hello Robert,

Thanks for your support. I realized i had an old backup of the sysconfig folder which i replaced and things fell in place.

Everything works fine now. Thanks again.
