Any support issues in regard to the new 27" iMac with Yosemite OS?
Curious if there are any hardware or OS issues expected or noted in regard to the NEW 27" Retina i7 iMacs with the AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4GB GDDR5 graphics.
I wouldn't suspect so, but I was just about to pull the trigger on a iMac system when this model was announced.
Any news, thoughts, experiences, frustrations, etc. in this regard?
The M295X drivers are only available in Yosemite (10.10), so you don't have the option to back-rev to 10.9 on this machine. According to other posts on the forum you may be OK, it's just not an officially supported configuration yet for Smoke.
Also, from what I've read, the 295X will probably perform a lot like a single D700 that's in the Mac Pro so keep that in mind as far as your performance expectations go.
