Hi Majush,
Further investigation would be required in order to figure out what is going on here.
Did you open a case to Technical Support for the issue?
Best regards,
Yann
I dont think we are under AD tech support. However, I did speak to AD tech support yesterday and I got a reply
"The .volatile folder is a temporary “working area” where flame works out the history stuffs.
The history stuffs are later stored in <library_name>.000.clib_hist.
So you don’t have to worry about those messages as stuffs in the .volatile area comes and
goes as it’s a “scratch pad” for flame to juggle history stuffs."
Hi Majush,
I was more concerned about the "dlCheckGLError" related error message than to the "volatile" related ones.
Although both might be harmless (especially the "volatile" ones), the should not apprear in the console so it would be nice to figure out exactly when they start appearring in the console while in session.
Any information you can provide would be helpful here.
Best regards,
Yann
thanks Yan.
"dlCheckGLError" been there for a long long time. I was told by my engineer that its very normal and some trouble with nvidia driver.
When i disabled the history option in preferences, the dlCheckGLError became even more. Its a quadro6000. How can I find out more about it? Shall I send u the log files??
Hi Majush,
The error message is not normal but may be harmless.
Can you please try to figure out what triggers the error message within the application (user operations)?
Please let us know,
Regards,
Yann
it pops up every now and then. I have no idea how to pinpoint it precisely. If you could give me some directions on how to do that, I can give it a try. Like how I can get the shell working on top of the flame say in a corner or so, so i can see when it appears.
majush,
Don't mean to hijack,
Did you ever get any resolution on this error ?
I have been getting the same on a flame premium Z820, it's annoying to say the least
nope. i turned off the intermediates and such but no good. its still there.
or was still there. am no more using that flame. left the shop.
