Quit after upload button

Quit after upload button

When Fusion asks me "do you reeeeaaaaaaallllly want to quit? I'm totally uploading files right now" I want to tell it "No, I don't want to quit, but I'd love it if you did when you're done uploading!" 🙂

So True! Specifically in lab environments!

I often try to exit Fusion while a design is open and just want to save it and exit, but Fusion 360 then pops up a dialog box saying that an upload is in progress so I end up cancelling, waiting a few seconds, and then exiting again.  If the upload is just going to take a second or two I don't want to be bothered by this dialog box, just do the upload and then exit.  Maybe the dialog should be upgraded to allow the user to select a "don't bother asking if the upload will take N seconds or less" option, then after that when you try to exit the program it'll just take the few seconds it needs and exit without a fuss.

This is one of those things that's pretty minor but still really obnoxious.

I think it ends up being obnoxious because you've been working at such a high level in the tool and (hopefully) accomplished something nice, and then right at the end it hits you with this low level trivial thing and your reaction is "why are you bothering me with such a trivial thing, just do the right thing and deal with it."

Yes I'd put this right up there with grabbing focus a few times during launch - not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things but still inescapably omnipresent annoying

This is in spirit with this other idea that has already been accepted and added to the working backlog.

We will draw from both suggestions in the solution design.

Thanks,

Add to this that if the upload was only going to take a second or two anyway then I reeeeaaaaaaallllly don't want you to even bug me by asking about it, just totally do it.
