manual snap placement

This happens all the time but I just want to snap to the intersection in the center 

but no matter what I do, the pointer sticks to one line or the other but never both*.. it'd be great to have an easy way to tell Fusion what I want to do rather than to have it guess wrongly and fight me.

* it does quite happily stick to a midpoint in the upper arc that's tantalizingly close to what I'm aiming for and yet miles away.

Having the same issue. It's got to be something simple but I can't figure out why the line tool will snap on one end but not the other.
