Keep grid snaps and object snaps at the same time

Keep grid snaps and object snaps at the same time

When I am in sketch mode and draw a line that snaps to some other line, then the grid snap seems to be disabled. Would it be possible to make the new line snap to the other line AND the grid at the same time? E.g. by snapping to the intersection of the grid and the other line?

This is working in today's version.

Ok, great, this is working...! 😄 But there is no visual feedback on this snap...

--> Snapping to grid is displayed as rectangle

--> Snapping to other line ist displayed as cross

--> Snapping to the intersection of grid and rectangle is also displayed as a cross. This is not very intuitive in my opinion. Please display it as a cross AND rectangle at the same time.

Yep. I haven't noticed it with the current available visible clues either. It does not even feel like it is working and therefore I still perform the inconvenient workaround by placing a vertex where no other object geometry is to have snapping, just to rearrange the vertex afterwards.

Here is a short video that I have captured earlier today while I was still convinced that dual snapping isn't present yet.

So frankly speaking if we compare current implementation to best-practice implementations in other software, can we simply say whatever the current implementation is, we need this feature to be reworked in fusion

And the task is simple:

- enable separated Snap control (tick) for Objecs and for Grid

- keep showing snap to grid and rectangle

- keep showing snap to objects as cross

- add cross + rectangle for intersection of grid and objects

Or in other works, copy Rhino, save time us both time.

Should you need more details on this feature, please let me know.
