control file versions inside Fusion and not webinterface

now fusion file versioning is pretty nice

that I have to go into the web interface to adjust that is ok but I should be able to do that also via Fusion itself

otherwise it is a lot of Fusion web to fusion to web etc ...

THis is somethign we have been disucssing internally too because it has come up in user research and it will be in a future update.

We are trying to solve 2 sets of problems here. We will solve the first bullet point below in the Feb update and the second bullet point in the update after Feb.

• People need to open older versions to copy or externalize some components in that design. We will support this by allowing you to open any older version of a design in read only mode.
• People need to promote an older version of a design to go back to a point in the design and evolve it in a new direction.
