Just installed Fusion 360, and had a heck of a time getting the password created. I use a password generator to create unique 20-character random passwords for each site/application, so it's easy for typos. Every other application I use allows pasting a password in from this application, so why did you make the explict choice to disable pasting passwords into the dialog box? Please reverse design choice and allow passwords to be pasted in to encourage the use of strong passwords.
Windows, or Mac ?
Appstore download or Installer from Autodesk Website ?
CMD-V does not work, however you can paste by right-clicking into the password filed with your mouse and selecting "Paste"
I agree, Keychain support would be excellent.
Right click and select Paste.
Thanks for pointing out that using the context menu and selecting paste works!
I would still really like to see Command-V work on OSX as paste for these input fields. It was very confusing that the system-native shortcuts didn't work here.
I'd like the ability to paste, with CMD-V my password into the password box, as I use generated passwords for my accounts. On OSX, this is currently impossible. The context menu is not how people paste. It is one of the keyboard shortcuts that should work everywhere.
This is a bug report, not a feature request as far as I am concerned.
