Saving the dwf markups for roundtripping?

I can see how ADR can eventually morph into freewheel. I'm wondering what the workflow will be like to roundtrip the markup data back into Revit view/sheets
Is the proposed workflow to save the dwf back out as a file for integration with the source application?
How will the project staff make the markup changes in the source application?
It would be great to hear from the developers on this topic. Thanks.

The plan was to be able to publish the Freewheel session as a DWF so that it
could be read back into the design application. For the initial release this
was considered lower priority since users could simply look at Freewheel and
the design application in side by side windows. Currently we are
experimenting with http://butterfly.autodesk.com where everything is kept as
DWG and the DWF step is not necessary.
