Project Freewheel down for the moment...

The production version of the Freewheel service, known as Autodesk
Freewheel, is hosted in locations around the globe. It's actually hosted in
the same locations as our Buzzsaw service. It is monitored by IT
professionals on a 24/7 basis.

The experimental version of the Freewheel service, known as Project
Freewheel, is hosted in our San Francisco development facility. It is
monitored by the development staff. We keep an eye on things, but for real
production use, Autodesk Freewheel is the way to go.

The AC in our server room in San Francisco just flared out, and the
temperature is increasing in the server room. We have service personnel on
their way here to repair the air conditioner but until then we have decided
to power down both network and server devices in the server room. We do not
currently have an ETA for the service personnel, and the server room will
remain down until the AC is repaired. Autodesk Freewheel is not affected by
this outage.

I would have posted a blog article to this effect on It's Alive in the Lab.
Alas, our blog service provider, TypePad, is experiencing an outage due to
power problems. When it rains, it pours.
