New Take 2

i do freelance drafting for architects
from home and i was looking for a way
to have more control over the whole
process.. especially control over getting
paid..
i was looking at the new PDF with all it's
new document controls like printing and
passwords and a bunch of other stuff- but
PDF is still the same old obsolete program
that can't move around a drawing like DWF
can.. design review is still the best but
you can't control what the recipient does
with the document..
(unless you are publishing from Inventor)

in my search for an alternative i found
"Freewheel".. it seems to work just the
way i want.. mainly it prints only a
smaller part of the sheet- a part that is
just the right size for printscreening and
marking with a pencil and faxing to me..
it's all so simple.. and it's all at "MY"
web site..

some architects are still stuck on PDF and
some don't even want to learn design review..
but i think everyone will soon learn design
review even if it's just to save paper and
footsteps at the office..

but for "fly-by-nite"
drafters like myself i think Freewheel is going
to be great.. haven't actually used it yet though..
