couple of questions: 1. I have uploaded a 3d file that was made in Inventor
and published to dwf with a link as follows:
http://freewheel.autodesk.com/dwf.aspx?path=http://www.dyrlund.com/3d/supreme.dwf&sec=1
The freewheel browser opens but the data do not appear on the two computers I
have tried ? does it have something to do with the file being too large ? I
doubt that the file is corrupt because when I enter the address directly in
internet explorer Autodesk Design Review opens the file perfectly. What have I
done wrong ? 2. Do you recommend to have more files gathered (like the dwf
file stated above) or should they be split up to increase speed for the end
user ? 3. What can be done to prevent other manufacturers of the items from
copying some data from me ? I have turned off drillings and other "detailed"
things that are not required to see the design ? 4. Finally, I wonder if
somebody knows why the view changes - in Inventor I see the desk exactly from
the side and have set it as front view and home. When the dwf file is created
this view is no longer the same which results in the files opening from
strange angle ? Thanks in advance to anybody who can help. Best regards,
Christian Jørgensen

to both of you for quick replies, which are both quite useful. I now tried to
save the file again in inventor without making these limits and uploaded the
file but when I enter the link it still tries to read the old file (I can see
the window opening with page 1 of 2 and the new file only has 1 file in it?
Why does it not overwrite the old one and update properly and how can I do
this ? Also I am looking at the right angle as per enclosed pdf file but it
still makes the view wrong - only under published view can I find the right
one but it should have been in the "initial navigation view" ? Actually it was
my intention to put a link to many of our 3d models on our website with
freewheel free access to end users and designers that they could look at the
details without being limited to certain views and distances if they were
interested in the models so the idea of "hiding" the address would be quite
bad ? Should I then instead rather make some pdf-files with fixed different
views but with freewheel and design review being available it will not give
the possibilities 😞 Hope to hear from you again. Thanks in advance. Hoping
you can help me

for the info. You say that I should just embed it. Is that the same as making
a link ? If I try opening the file www.dyrlund.com/3d/supreme.dwf on a pc
without design review it does not recognise the page. What should I then do
?
