contacting us. I am glad you are considering Project Freewheel. Project
Freewheel (

is a technology preview that is available from Autodesk Labs. Autodesk Freewheel
(

Freewheel is about as secure as using email. In general no one will find your
file unless you email them a link. We have had requests for a self-hosted
version of Freewheel but those plans are on-hold given the current economic
climate. We look forward to the possibility of getting back to that as part
of a future release. Project Freewheel does associate uploaded DWF files
with your Autdoesk login, so you can delete them from the server when you no
longer need them there. In terms of printing, both of the Freewheel use the
browser printing capabilities - which is very limited. we are looking for our
DWF partners to make print servers available with web APIs that Freewheel could
call to be able to accomplish to-scale printing. So Autdoesk Design Review is
the way to go for now if printing is a must.

we only need to display & print drawings from our we site, Freewheel seems
like a good option, but the drawings are confidential, so exposing the URL may
not be acceptable to our customers. Is there a workaround, or should we be
considering using something like Design Review instead? Ideally, we want to
display the drawing in a browser window as part of an ASP, but also need to
show other information outside of the drawing window. The site is developed in
Visual Studio 2008. What Autodesk products should we be considering for
drawing review & print? Markups would be nice, but not mandatory. If
possible, we would like to avoid ActiveX downloads, as they generally require
special permissions and IS support to install at our customer's sites. Thank
you.
