Autodesk University 2007

Reminder! If you are an expereinced "FMer," I'd like to remind you that we are currently reviewing submissions from those who would like to speak in the FM Track at Autodesk University 2007. You might like to know what type of sessions the review committee is looking for! Consider the following as a guideline. We'd like to see pretty focused sessions on using FMDesktop for specific tasks such as: disaster planning/recovery, indirect cost recovery, capital replacement planning, JCAHO Statement of Conditions, and so on. Also desired are case studies of specific implementations, especially when they highlight a customer specific problem and solution, such as bar coding, or tough data requirements.

For full details of the conference, go to www.autodesk.com/events and click on Autodesk University. Submissions can be made at the following site: https://www.autodeskuniversity07.com/portal/cfp/welcome.ww The deadline is April 30th.

Jon Luby IMAGINiT Technologies

Bob Fahlin Autodesk

I can't say that I'm not disappointed that all of these are listed as
'classes' with no hint of a 'lab' (hands on). 😞
But, the content itself looks pretty good.

I'm really looking forward to another one with Clyne Curtis (Revit and
FMD for Facility Management). I think our system is exploring BIM more
every day, and I like to be as informed as possible when we have our Q&A
meetings.

A great lineup, and I'm really looking forward to it (although it could
be hard to top last year, which was the best so far, at my 6th AU).
Thanks to Adesk and the speakers!
