First AUGI CAD Camp in the UK!!

All you FM'ers out there in the UK!

You will be pleased to know that AUGI are running the first UK-based CAD Camp at the University of Surrey in Guildford on 20th June 2006.

There will be a number of national and international instructors at the event, including 2 classes from the lovely Lynn Allen of Autodesk!

From an FM viewpoint, there will be an FM track, primarily devoted to the new Autodesk FMDesktop product which looks superb and links to all of your existing AutoCAD FM drawings and data. It looks as though there will be at least 5 classes devoted to FM in general.

It is a bargain as well, the early bird discount was £139 for the day but I think that has now gone up to £169 (for AUGI members).

Did they have any practice-based courses? or all software-geared? did you test-drive FMdesktop?
