Scriptable!

Please make Flow Design scriptable. In particular, make it available through Autodesk Dynamo so we can do cool parametric runs with it and change the shape of the tested building/object parametrically to achieve certain targets. This could be a killer app for the performance-based parametric design community.

Thanks for the suggestion. What exactly do you want to script? I assume you'll want to repeat a specific kind of setup or group of setups? what data do you need to get out?

Basically to be able to access analysis data, use that to move or resize 3D objects in the scene (to achieve a target), recompute the wind flow etc.

Hi All,

This has come up recently in my office as a way of creating form.

I would like to see a workflow where Dynamo (or GH) could place the geometry in Flow Design and read the compute and registered when it had stabilized, it would then output this "map" (numeric or Visual) and applied that to the initial geometry.

Loop until defined parameters are achieved.

If any body has ideas around the FBX SDK that could help i would like to hear them also.
