New to aerodynamic - need some very basic introduction!

Hi there,

I am not an engineer and am curious if anybody knows a tutorial or website that has a basic

introduction in aerodynamic and how to use Flow Design for building basic car bodies.

basically what I woud like to do is to see if Flow Design could be used for our industrial design course

and include the wind tunnel test to validate the efficiency of a model idea.

Thank you

Hi Claas

Very glad to hear of the interest. Flow Design is intended to help you visualize basic flow behavior around an object as part of early stage design so it sounds like it could be a good fit with what you're looking for.

You'll find introductory material on how to use Flow Design here: http://help.autodesk.com/view/ADSKFD/ENU/

There is also a super-basic review of a step-by-step workflow for students participating in the F1 in Schools program here: http://static-dc.autodesk.net/content/dam/autodesk/www/industries/education/docs/Introduction_to_Aut...

I'll also attach a few more detailed notes I've kept on how the current release of Flow Design should be run in these applications.
