base of flow design

Hello
My name is Anastasiia and I'm a student of St.-Petersburg Polytechnical University.

I'm writting an article about wind loads on high-rise buildins. And if it's possible I would like to know what hypothesis and equations of math, physics, dynamics and ets. are used in the calculations in Flow Design? Because I am doing a comparative analysis of calculation in your programme and in according to existing russian construction standards and I need to know it
I'll be glad if you can answer me

Hello

Flow Design runs calculations based on the Navier Stokes equations much like a traditional CFD application. The model is broken down into a series of elements (ie. "voxels") and solved using a Finite Volume Method aproach. Turbulence is accounted for using an LES turbulence model.
