Important notice about HP8400 and HP9400 workstations, and RHEL 4 and 5 OS

Hi everyone.

The HP8400 and HP9400 platforms have been in service for over 7 years and are no longer under hardware support/warranty coverage, nor are they available for purchase by HP.

The Autodesk® Flame® 2015 family software is the last major software release to support the HP8400 and HP9400 platforms, as well as Red Hat operating system versions 4 and 5.

We recommend that you upgrade your hardware to a currently supported configuration to support future software releases (when available).

We are focusing our resources to support Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 on our more recent HP hardware configurations to provide both the performance and long-term value required for our solutions.

Software release updates are available through your Autodesk® Maintenance Subscription contract entitlement and will enable you to stay current.
