Great explanation Joel and a great resource for anyone wishing to unleash their own system. I had issues a couple of months ago with the bios settings and the custom Autodesk install so this is a great series of steps for those installing you've done. There are a number of other steps I never thought to take, for example updating the graphics driver. Nice one.
Wishing now that I'd gone for two Titans instead of the single Quadro K6000. Looks like it works a charm then with background reactor.
