Hi,
I've been trying to convert some legacy animation data to collada and then import it into max. Collada has a pretty straightforward animation representation, but I've hit a couple of snags, my animation data has a 'back' node and there seems to be some code that chokes on that assuming it's the Max 'back' camera. I've detailed that in another post:
http://area.autodesk.com/forum/autodesk-3ds-max/sdk/collada-animation-importer-fails-on-back-joint.The other issue I'm hitting is that motions that are imported seem to corrupt the model slightly. Suddenly portions of the animated skin radically change in size every frame. I've looked for scale keyframes and any other signs of why the character would be messed up, found nothing. Anyone have advice or know who to report this kind of bug to at autodesk? I'm attaching a sample of the warping model.
Thanks
p.s. I can't seem to attach the model to the post.
