I am using MayaLT 2017 and I need to export my file as a COLLADA DAE file. I DL the FBX converter and I am able to export the file from Mayalt as a reg FBX. But when I put it in the converter and select COLLADA DAE file and hit convert I get a message that says "not enough parameters". Can anyone tell me what I am not doing or doing wrong? I have attached a copy of the error message.

I get exactly the same error when exporting FBX to DAE from Maya LT.
The only workarround for this is to export as an OBJ from Maya LT, then import the OBJ into the converter, convert to FBX and THEN export to DAE. That works.
So the chain is: OBJ -> FBX -> DAE ...
One extra step in the export chain... 😕
A fix on this would be great!
I found a workaround with less steps go to the plug in manager and add the gaming exporter plug in, then when you export it use that but be sure to change the FBX 2016 to 2014-2015 and it will work like a charm.

Thankx, you saved me from destroying my life everytime I created a model from Maya I have to convert it into DAE through Blender!
