Launchpad - Add AutoCAD

Hi,

I would like to add AutoCAD to the FDS launchpad? Is it possible?

In the FDS deployment I can add a AutoCAD profile to the desktop, but it does not appear in the launchpad?

Can I modify it after the installation?

Regards Andreas

Hi AnJanson,

Maybe the answer is no. You cannot customize the launchpad.

Please mark as a solution if somehow I got it right.

I'm sorry, but I have to come back again to this issue.

The launchpad in FDS 2016 starts AutoCAD with the following command Line parameters:

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2016\acad.exe" /ld /p "" /product "ACA"

Because there is no profile defined, AutoCAD starts with the last profile used.

That means, if I last used the basic AutoCAD profile the launchpad starts AutoCAD.

But if I last used the AutoCAD Architecture profile it starts ACA again.

Is there any possibility to add a named profile to the parameter /p in the launchpad?

I would like to force the launchpad to always start AutoCAD Architecture, no matter which profile was used before.

Regards

Andreas
