Hi, one of our customers follows the prescribed worklow DWG Overlay->placing Inventor assets->Create New DWG. The problem is that lines in the DWG overlay will still be visible when Factory assets are placed over the overlay entities. Is there a workflow to have the overlay entities localy hidden on places where factory objects are located when creating the complete Factory DWG? Thanks.
Please RMB on the dwg overlay in the assembly browser and then select the Suppress Feature menu command.Or select Layer settings menu command and uncheck the unwanted layers inthe following dialog.

Thanks for your reply, but we don't want to hide the entire layer. The purpose is to hide only the local hidden line segemets underneath the 3D assets placed in Inventor factory.
