Is there a way to control the margin of 2D sketches that are automatically creating during the publishing of assets from Inventor?
Hi there,
Could you tell me what is the problem you are encountering? I don't understand why you can want that.
Thanks,

See the attached picture. The picture on the left is of the model. The picture on the right is the 2D asset that was automatically created during the asset publish process. Notice how the drawing has been cropped.
Hi there,
I guess you are publishing the Assembly as asset, right? So some parts in assembly are set as Reference in BOM.
Maybe you can change the Reference to Normal in BOM before you publish the asset.
Thanks,

Yes, the assembly has some components that are set to reference. I was hoping that I won't have to change the BOM structure because then the BOM wouldn't be correct.
Any other ides?
Hi there,
Absolutely. The other way is as below.
1,Open the DWG file that generated by publish.
2,Activate the sheet page by double click
3,Edit the view
4,In Mode State tab, you can change margin to big enough value
But there is a potential issue. The position between 2D asset and 3D asset will not be matched when do sync2D/3D in Inventor.
Thanks,

Hi there,
I think another wokround to completely fix the issue you encountered.
1,Open the assembly file before publish as asset
2,Change the Reference of parts in assembly to Normal temporarily in BOM
3,Publish the assembly as asset
4,Open the assembly asset in factory user library and change back Normal to Reference of parts in BOM
Thanks,
