Inventor crashes when selecting connector

Hi

I have a problem with attached part.

Everything's working fine until I click on "Coonector Class Properties" in "Asset Builder".

Can someone give a look at it please.

Thanks

Andre

Hi there,

We have looked into the issue. We found that some corrupted values are added in the connector class properties. We have removed the connector class properties from the asset. Could you please share the workflow or steps you added the connector class properties to the asset?

Attached is the corrected asset.

Thanks,

-Xuesong

Hi and thanks
I have difficulty to share the workflow because I don’t know what happened.
I have a customized connector class and it works fine with my other assets.

Could you tell me where is the attached corrected asset.

Hi,

Sorry the corrected asset is missing. I will upload it from my working machine tomorrow.
From your asset, I see that you have added the connector class properties. After that, then you modified the connector class file, right?

Thanks,
-Xuesong

Hi Xuesong

Thank you for the tomorrow upload.

It may be possible that I added the connector class properties and then modified the connector class file, I'm not sure.

If so, I should be able to update the connector class properties, is that right?

Is there something I did wrong?

Thanks

Andre

Yes, you can update the connector class properties to the corrected asset.
It is hard to say you did wrong. But we need to simulate your workflow and do something in our software to avoid the crash.
So, please try to recall the workflow you did. That will be helpful to us to investigate the issue.

Thanks,
-Xuesong

Hi Xuesong

My job since the last 10 months is to build a customized asset library. I created almost a 100 parts.

I try to work rigourously to use the same method for all my assets.

The workflow of this asset should be the same as the other, but only this one has a problem.

This is why it is hard for me to recal the workflow of the problematic asset.

So, I will wait for the asset upload tomorrow and hope I won't have any further trouble.

Thank you very much for your fast answer.

Hi Andre,

I found that I cannot attach the file.

I shared the corrected model in Autodesk 360(http://a360.co/V0Kbub), please download it from there.

Thanks,

-Xuesong
