Existing assembly to FDS Asset

I have an assembly built prior to FDS.  Now that we have FDS, is there a way to make it an Asset?  When I open the assembly, I get the Factory tab, and it appears to be allowing me to select a Landing Surface, but my Asset Builder button on the Environments tab is faded out.

Will I need to start over with the assembly?

Hi there,

I guess that your assembly is created based factory layout template.

If yes, that is the limitation that you cannot publish the such assembly as asset.

But you can create a normal  assembly and then publish it as assset in Asset builder environment.

Thanks,

Please mark as a solution if somehow I got it right.

You got it Xuesong.  I finally got a msgbox that pointed out that the original template was the culprit.
