Elevation view problem

I have prepared factory with building and placed some factory assets.

Now I wants to generate elevation drawing but only building is showing in height and not factory assets.

Please suggest how to generate elevation drawing.

one file is attached for reference.

Regards,

Sagar

Hi Sagar,

You need to generate the 3D layout from AutoCAD 2D drawing to Inventor 3D by Sync Inventor command in AutoCAD.

1,Sync Inventor in AutoCAD

2,The 3D layout automatically generated in Inventor

Hi Xuesong,

Thank you very much.

File attached by you is very helpful but i have some more queries.

I have generated AutoCAD drawing as per instruction in your attachment file.

But if i want to show the view inside the factory, i have to hide the complete roof.

Is it possible to show roof as a wireframe ? (one reference file 'trial drawing.dwg' is attached)

two more files are attached for reference

one have complete roof and in 2nd file roof is invisible.

Thanks & regards,

Sagar

Hi Sagar,

Absolutely. Please make sure the roof part which is set as reference in the building assembly in Inventor. Then you can get the wireframe in the drawing.

Thanks,

Hi Xuesong,

This is working but actually we are having two file one is inventor file and 2nd is architecture file.

In architure file we have factory outside structure with other many parts like floor, slabs & many more.

so When i set architure part all other parts becomes invisible.

I would like to share a original file to you but this is confidential file.

So could you please give me your email id so that i can send this file directly to you.

Regards,

Sagar
