Changing Asset Properties in ACADA or ACADM

Hello there!

Is it possible in FDSU 2013 to change the Properties of an asset like an Conveyor?

I want to change the width of such a conveyor - but I only see the way in synchronizing to Inventor and then to change the width there? Is there a way to change it in the 2d-Layout?

Thanks for your answers

Frank

Hi Frank -

The only way that you can change parameter values for assets placed in AutoCAD is to use variants -- these are predefined (at asset publish time) sets of parameter values, for which the system automatically generates corresponding DWG blocks for use in AutoCAD.

Only in Inventor can you modify parameter values individually.

Jeff
