Taking off an Object with the attacher arrow while in design line

When you are drawing in design line, and if you need to add something manually via the attacher arrow, you currently have to exit out of the design line then select the item you would like to attach.

Could we get a keystroke, that when held and you select an item within design line it allows you to takeoff the item like it would via the attacher arrow?

For example, when using the attacher arrow, we already have the ability to hold the ALT key, select and object, it will override the "Certified" parameter within the properties of that ITM.

Can you add, hold CTRL + click on a button in the design line menu, and it acts as though design line is not active and looks at the attacher arrow so you do not have to close down design line each time?

The less mouse clicks, the more time saved...
